Dinner must include 2-3 oz of lean meat, 1 cup of beans, 1 cup of grated carrot, 1 medium sized apple and black coffee or tea or diet soda or water. One can also have one cup of vanilla ice cream for dinner.
The day 2 breakfast menu of the 3 day grapefruit diet includes black coffee or tea, 1 hard boiled or pouched egg or omelette, 1 plain toast and 1 banana. For the lunch, one must take 1 cup tuna, 5 saltine crackers, and black tea or coffee or diet soda or water.
